An evening of practical strategies for barristers’ chambers to support neurodivergent barristers, clerks and pupils.
About this Event

ABC Chambers Solutions invites you to a practical, sector-specific session on neuroinclusion in chambers. Nathaniel W. Hawley (Founder, Divergent Thinking UK) will demystify neurodiversity in the context of chambers life, cut through common myths, and share simple, low-cost adjustments that improve wellbeing, collaboration and client service.

We’ll then host a fireside chat bringing multiple perspectives from the Bar, including:

• Alice de Coverley — Barrister, 3PB Chambers; Trustee, Neurodiversity in Law

• Sophie Stevens — Barrister, 9BR Chambers; Trustee, Neurodiversity in Law

What you’ll learn

• Plain-English overview of neurodiversity (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia) relevant to chambers

• Everyday adjustments for clerks’ rooms, robing rooms, court days and remote/hybrid work

• Inclusive supervision: pupillage/mini-pupillage design, feedback and workload pacing

• Document and briefing accessibility (instructions, bundles, deadlines)

• Conversations, confidentiality and reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010

• A quick-wins checklist to take back to chambers
