We have a bonus Networking With for May! Join SWC and Melissa Cotesta on Tuesday, May 12th from 6 PM to 8 PM for "From Purpose to Profit: Starting a Business That Feels Meaningful."
From Purpose to Profit is a hands-on workshop designed to help you take the next step with more clarity and confidence. Together, we will make sense of your idea, talk about who it could help, and break down what it really takes to build something sustainable in a way that feels simple and manageable.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of your idea, who it is for, and what step makes the most sense for you to take next.
You will also be in a room with other women who are asking similar questions, exploring similar possibilities, and trying to build something meaningful for themselves and their future. That kind of space matters. You do not need a business name, a logo, or a perfect plan to be here. You just need some curiosity, some openness, and a willingness to see what might be possible.
This workshop is for the woman who has been thinking about starting something of her own and wants a place to begin that feels encouraging, practical, and real.
Facilitator Melissa Cotesta brings over 20 years of Canadian executive leadership experience, including senior roles in healthcare, post-secondary education, and HR consulting. She is a professor at Laurentian University and Cambrian College, a board member with the Canadian College of Health Leaders, and the founder of AuthenticExec, a boutique leadership consulting firm based in Sudbury. She built her business while raising two young daughters and understands firsthand the courage it takes to start something from nothing.
