Networking Basics Workshop
Join RISE Women in Business for an interactive workshop designed to help you network with more confidence, build genuine relationships, and create connections that can lead to referrals, opportunities, and sales.
Networking is more than introducing yourself and handing out a business card. Strong networking starts with showing up, listening well, building trust, and making intentional connections over time. In this workshop, we’ll break down the basics of networking in a practical and approachable way so you can feel more confident walking into any room.
In this workshop, we’ll cover:
- The 4 stages of effective networking
- How to make meaningful connections
- Why trust comes before referrals
- How to ask better questions
- How to listen with intention
- How to confidently start and end conversations
- Real-world networking habits that help grow your business
This workshop will also include interactive exercises to help you practice what you learn in real time.

Light hors d'oeuvres included. Wine and additional food will be available for purchase from the venue menu.
Registration Rules
- Registration is required for all attendees.
- Free for current RISE members
- $20 for guests
- Guests may also attend free by signing up for a 30-day trial membership
- A registration ticket is required, even for free member or trial registrations
- Space may be limited, so advance registration is encouraged
