About this Event
Working for yourself can get isolating. And most networking events don't fix that.
This is a monthly founders networking and coworking in Ascot, Berkshire designed for people building their own thing who want a better environment to connect, think, and spend time around others in a similar position.
A relaxed, well-held space where you can meet other founders, freelancers and independent professionals doing their own thing, have straightforward conversations that are actually useful, and get out of working alone for a few hours and into a better environment.
You can come to connect with people who are in a similar position, talk through what you're working on or figuring out, or simply sit down and get some work done alongside people who get it.
This isn't just about collecting contacts. It's about being in the right room.
Who it's for
Founders, freelancers, entrepreneurs and remote professionals who want a change of scene, to mix with likeminded people building a business or working independently, something more natural than traditional networking, and the energy of other people doing meaningful work.
If you're self-employed, working solo or building something from the ground up, you'll feel right at home.
The Environment
The atmosphere is relaxed, focused and supportive. No awkward networking or sales pitches - just capable people working alongside each other and making genuine connections.
Banana Bread Club started as a small coworking morning in Berkshire and has grown into a local community of nearly 300 founders, freelancers and remote professionals who meet regularly to work, connect and keep momentum going. This is our monthly in-person event - and it fills up!
Location
The Royal Foresters, Ascot, Berkshire.
Working for yourself doesn't mean working alone. If you've been craving a change of scene, some real momentum and the energy of getting around people doing the same, grab your spot - we'd love to see a new face.
A little about me...
I'm Hannah, an ICF-accredited performance and wellbeing coach based in Berkshire. I started the Banana Bread Club last year after my own experience of working solo for the previous 14 years - the freedom was real, but so was the quiet. What began as a small Tuesday coworking morning has grown into a community of nearly 300 founders, freelancers and independent professionals across the area. I run these monthly events because the room I wanted didn't exist, so I built it!
