As part of this year’s Nether Edge Festival, take a sensory journey moving slowly through the woodland, mindfully connecting with all your senses for relaxation and wellbeing.
Join us for a restorative 90-minute mindfulness forest bathing walk around Sheffield General Cemetery, led by Dr Kirsten McEwan, PhD. As an expert in the science of nature and wellbeing, Kirsten will share fascinating insights into why spending time among trees is so beneficial – from the calming effects of woodland air to the powerful impact on our mental health.
Slowing right down and focusing on nature allows us to step away from our busy minds, letting worries and cares melt away. Experience the natural world in a different way, perhaps like a child would, seeing things in more detail, with clarity and awe.
We look forward to sharing the restorative power of nature with you, you’ll never look at woodland in the same way again!
