Nervous to Handy: A Beginners Tool & Home Skills Class
Nervous to Handy is a beginner-friendly, hands-on class for people who want to feel more confident doing simple tasks around their home.
If you've ever felt unsure using a drill, confused by anchors, or frustrated waiting on help for small fixes, this class is for you!
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This class is taught by Handy Dan, founder of Team Handy Dan, a licensed and insured handyman company based in NYC.
What you'll learn
- How to safely use a drill and driver
- How to choose the right anchor for drywall, plaster, and studs.
- How to hang shelves, art, mirrors, and common household items.
- How to find studs and avoid common mounting mistakes.
- Simple patching and fixing techniques you can use.
- Types of drill bits and adapters.
- Tools and materials I recommend and use everyday!
Everything is taught step by step, with time to practice and ask questions.
