A Gentle Journey through Vagal Nerve Toning, Yoga, and Mantra
About this Event

Nervous System Regulation for Mothers, Leaders, & Givers

Designed for mothers, leaders, and givers who carry so much, this immersion experience offers a recalibration for the whole self. This is a chance to unwind from overdrive and reconnect with the calm, grounded wisdom that lives within you.

Your nervous system is your inner compass that holds everything you need to return to equilibrium. It steadies you when the mind grows loud and carries you back to center when the world pulls you in many directions.

This workshop is an invitation to return to this centered rhythm.

Through the science of the vagus nerve and the embodied practices of yoga, breath, and mantra, together we will experience how intentional movement and breath expand emotional capacity, embodied resilience, and restore access to your internal source of ease.

Expect warmth, curiosity, empowerment, and space to exhale. This is a gentle yet powerful immersion.

What We’ll Explore:

  • A gentle opening with guided centering to arrive in the body, spirit, and begin reconnecting with your internal rhythm.
  • An experiential mini-lesson on the neuroscience of stress and resilience. We will discuss and experience how movement, breath, and sound reshape the mind-body connection to generate calm from within. You’ll learn accessible somatic tools to take home and weave into a daily practice.
  • A restorative closing meditation to anchor the restoration and set intention before re-entering the world.
  • Supportive easeful yoga sequence blending Kundalini-inspired movement, rhythmic breathwork, and sound to awaken energy, ground the body, and integrate your newly learned tools.
  • Inquiry and journaling prompts to set meaningful intentions and design a small self-practice to carry home.

You'll Leave Feeling:

  • More attuned to your own rhythms and needs
  • Grounded, clear, and in touch with your center
  • Equipped with simple nervous system tools to use anytime
  • Reconnected to your quiet strength beneath the surface of doing

What to Bring:

  • Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, and blanket or eye cover for comfort and warmth.
  • A notebook and pen are recommended for journaling or reflection.
  • Bring a water bottle and wear layered clothing to adjust to temperature shifts during movement and relaxation.

Important Notes:

  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and create a calm start to your experience.
  • Have a nourishing breakfast beforehand so you feel grounded and supported in practice.
  • Kindly avoid wearing scented products or fragrances.

Space is intentionally limited to cultivate an intimate, restorative atmosphere. Please reserve your spot in advance! (All sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded or transferred for any reason.)

About the Facilitator:

Alison E. Berman is a 220-hour certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Co-Active Institute-trained Professional Coach whose work integrates yogic practice with the science of neuroplasticity. Through her company, Lifeforce Labs, she offers a modern toolkit for leaders and teams to cultivate nervous system resilience, presence, and creative flow in the face of today’s fast-changing world. Alison is a graduate of Stanford University’s Compassion Cultivation Training, an evidence-based program that integrates neuroscience and contemplative practice to strengthen empathy, resilience, and well-being, and is currently completing advanced training through the Stanford’s YogaX program. Before founding Lifeforce Labs, Alison spent over a decade leading communications for venture capital firms and think tanks at the intersection of human and planetary health, an experience she now weaves into her work bridging business, well-being, and embodied leadership.
