Dr. Bob Pritchard (Emeritus UBC School of Music, UBC Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems) researches e-textiles, infra-red tracking, controlled lighting, and force sensing for use in performance. Besides discussing the technologies, he will present excerpts from some of his interactive works for music, dance, and speech synthesis.
