NEOPIT PILSKI & MPC LAFOTE: from the muddy waters of the Elbe to the sandy banks of Hadzhiyskah.
Two bands that will make your eyes sparkle. That evening with Neopit Pilski & MPC Lafote will take you on a journey from Sonic Youth and Fugazi through Joy Division and DAF to New Order and back to Shellac and Louisville on the banks of the Ohio. The two Hamburg bands are traveling, crammed into a van, through Dresden, Vienna, and Belgrade all the way down to Plovdiv. In times when the existence as an couch potato can be perfected, Neopit Pilski & MPC Lafote hit the road to experience adventures and play concerts, after which all synapses connect in a new way. With drums, guitar, bass, synthesizers, and drum machines in the trunk, they’ll follow the Danube in the first half of June:

Yes, that’s right —this is hard pop— a long-forgotten genre in the world of musical twists and turns, which acts like nettle tea, but doesn’t send you running to the bathroom, but rather to the dance floors of all 7 continents. In some circles, this mix goes by the term “post-wave.”
