NEMBA - Québec Vélo de Montagne Tour

Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Accueil Shannahan

We're joining forces again with Québec City Mountain Bike - the NEMBA of Quebec - to bring our members a world-class experience. With their impressive network of trails for all tastes and levels, the trails of the greater Quebec City region are a must for all mountain biking enthusiasts.

What to Expect:

Location: We will be based for the weekend in the heart of the valley at the Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Accueil Shannahan, an outdoor destination less than an hour from Quebec City with mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and canyoning.
Accommodations: Base camp will be Camping Shannahan, located at the foot of the Falaises Mountains, 300 meters from Accueil Shannahan. Tent and RV camping is included for Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. Many other accommodations (cabins, chalets, yurts) are available for rent as well. Riders looking to stay Sunday night can enjoy a luxurious stay, and NEMBA Tour discount, at Entourage-Sur-Le-Lac near Sentiers du Moulin.
Trails: Quebec's premier outdoor destination, the Vallée Bras-du-Nord features 100 km of mountain bike trail for two great days of riding for beginners and experts alike. Riding features a seamless blend of flowy singletrack and exhilarating terrain.Trails plunge you into the boreal forest, along vertiginous cliffs, rivers, waterfalls and cascades. On Sunday, participants will drive to Sentiers du Moulin, just 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City, with more than 70km of singletrack for all style from beginner to double diamond expert trails.
Guided Rides: Participants can choose between exclusiv guided rides by VBN insiders, or self-guided rides. The guides are always a highlight!
Food: Quebec City takes their food seriously and you won't be disappointed. Dinners will be catered for our riders, courtesy of Fanny Lehouiier's and Roquemont Microbrasserie.
Social: Post-ride, relax by the fire pits, listen to live music and enjoy snacks and a beverage as you get to know you fellow mountain bikers. You can also enjoy the river, or hike to the stunning waterfall.
Bike Rentals - Analog and eMTB rentals are available on-site. Reserve in advance and use the NEMBA discount. Consider an eMTB if hilly terrain is challenging for you or you have advanced skills with lower fitness.

Participants are responsible for their own breakfast, Sunday lunch, and transportation from VBN to Sentiers du Mouln.

50% refunds available through Aug 17, 2026
Credit towards future trips available after August17,2026 for medical emergencies

In case of very extreme weather, we have reserved a rain date will be 9/24-9/27/26.
