Workshop Title & Description:
"Anchor: Elevating Your Craft Through Wellness, Ritual and Embodiment Practices"
Whether the intention is to score well, gain followers, develop a strong portfolio or build community, how we present our work matters. This can be impacted by many things: how well we slept, our mood and habits, and the dumpster fire hellscape that is late stage capitalism.
Facilitated by Kay Fraser, Anchor invites creatives of all levels and disciplines to get present with themselves and their work in a meaningful, engaging way. From this space of honest witnessing and exploration, participants are invited to develop a more intimate relationship with their artistic practice; to better understand why they create, what their art asks of them, and how they can best support themselves and their audience.
Through discussion, group activities and creative exercises, we'll explore how wellness, ritual and embodiment practices can help elevate our craft, and empower us to connect with ourselves, our work and community on a deeper, more authentic level.
