Collecting HistoryExhibition

Free. No bookings required.
The exhibition will feature a display of some
400 A4 pages of stamps and postal history,
much of it relating to the Nelson region. Visitors
to the exhibition can also bring their stamps
and related postal material for evaluation by
our club members and get advice on how they
might build on or dispose of those collections.
There will be opportunities for visitors to
purchase postal material from accredited
dealers who will have stands at the exhibition.
We are working with The Nelson Historical
Society, The Genealogy Society of New Zealand
Nelson Branch and the Waimea West Historical
Society to have them join us with displays
and members to talk to visitors about their
areas interest and provide guidance for those
interested in collecting their own history. Phil
Trowbridge will also have a display of his diecast
vintage toy cars from
1930’s and be available to talk to
visitors about them.
