Our Nelson College Rugby 1st XV are heading to the capital to be part of NZ rugby history when we take on Wellington College on Saturday April 18. The game marks 150 years since our two schools matched up in the first ever inter-collegiate game played in New Zealand. Sky will be televising this significant event, and there will be two days of events leading up to the game with a golf tournament on April 16 and a gala luncheon on April 17 which promises to be entertaining with Marc Ellis and Sir Graham Henry attending.
