Neighbourhood Cleanup Party - Hosted by Victoria Drive BIA
Come join Team SVNH (South Vancouver Neighbourhood House) for a fun day of cleaning up our community at Jones Park in Vancouver!
Let's work together to make our neighbourhood sparkle. Wear comfy clothes and bring your friends and family along.
We'll provide all the necessary cleaning supplies and snacks to keep you energized. It's a great way to give back and meet your neighbours. See you there!

Venue: 5350 Commercial St, Vancouver, BC V5P 3N3
Our tent will be set up near the roadside of the park: Victoria Drive and E. 38th Ave
When: June 8, 2024 (Saturday), 9 am to 1 pm.
Proposed Itinerary
9:00 am - Registration at Jones Park
- Pick up gloves (keep them on for the entire cleanup), picker, garbage bag
- Pick up Covid mask if needed
- Review the Volunteer Cleanup Safety Checklist
- Coffee and snack/bun are served
9:30 am - Safety Talk by VDBIA Staff and/or Director
- Cleanup starts on the sidewalk in the assigned commercial block(s)
along Victoria Drive and back lane(s) between East 32nd and Nassau Drive
12:00 noon - Return to Jones Park with all the tools and the garbage bag
- Pick up Certificate of Appreciation
- Words of appreciation by VDBIA staff
- Group photo of volunteers with VDBIA president and directors, and VIPs
12:15 pm - Lucky Draw
- End of cleanup
