Curious about how climate change may affect Napa Valley and our world in the not-so-distant future? Climate change is already underway, and today’s science is clear and can help us understand what lies ahead for our community.
The Parks Foundation invites you to a free, interactive community presentation with climate scientist and UC Berkeley professor Andrew Isaacs. In this engaging conversation, Professor Isaacs will break down the science of climate change, share new technological advances in climate research, and explore what current projections mean for our region.
The discussion will also highlight practical ways to prepare for tomorrow’s climate, along with empowering ideas for how individuals and communities can make a meaningful impact. Whether you’re new to the topic or eager to deepen your understanding, this event is designed to inform, inspire, and spark conversation.
The Climate Education Program is funded and overseen by Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) to advance community-based climate education, research, and local capacity building in the Napa Valley.
This is a free community event. All are welcome. For more information about the Parks Foundation and the Napa River Ecology Center visit www.acparks.org
