The Shade Project – Brought to you by Neighbor Idaho
As the Boise summer heat ramps up, the sun can be relentless—especially for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Inspired by Jonah 4:6, where God provides a plant to shade Jonah from the scorching sun, we’re stepping in with love and practical care to help do the same.
Join us Saturday, August 23rd at 12 PM MST as we head downtown to serve and support our neighbors with compassion and shade. We’ll be handing out umbrellas, tents, sunscreen, and other helpful items to bring some relief from the heat. We believe in showing up for people—and sometimes that looks like offering a little bit of shade and a whole lot of kindness.
