About this Event
What were the Brewerytown, Fairmount and Sharswood neighborhoods like a more than hundred years ago? What exactly goes on behind the 10-foot wall of Girard College? How did Stephen Girard become the richest man in America?
Step inside this awe-inspiring National Historic Landmark and visit the newly reinstalled museum, which features expanded sections on Girard College’s relationship with the neighborhood, the school’s landmark civil rights cases, and the student experience at Girard over the years.
