About this Event
Composer and BBC Radio 3 Producer Luke Whitlock hosts an informal concert, where he explores the neglected female creatives behind some of the instruments held at the museum. This event will include performances of new works given by Dr John Kitchen on a 1766 Shudi Harpsichord, members of the Wallace Collection duetting on a pair of Besson Cornophones from the 1890s, and a string ensemble formed to perform on a selection of instruments from the New Violin Octet developed by Carleen Hutchins in the twentieth century.
