Needle Felting Workshop: Painting with Wool

Join us at Pistachio Cafe for a relaxed, creative night of needle felting, good company, and your favourite drink.

Instead of paint and a brush, you will use a felting needle and fluffy wool to create a simple 4x4 inch wool painting to display on the mini easel provided. Unlike a typical paint night, everyone will create an image of their choice.

Angela Hoyt, a graduate of Fleming College’s Haliburton School of Art and Design Fibre Arts program, will show you the basics, offer tips, and cheer you on.

All materials are provided, and no experience is needed. Bring a simple design idea or choose one of ours at the class.

Safety note: Felting needles are very sharp and require fine motor dexterity. You will learn safe handling and finger saving techniques before you start.

Cost: $40/person plus HST. Includes all materials, instruction, and a drink of your choice.
