Have you ever wondered what secrets lie in a tuft of wool?
Join us for an enchanting afternoon where we'll transform soft, fluffy wool into charming, full-of-character gnomes!
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the relaxing and addictive art of needle felting. No experience is needed! We provide all the materials and guidance, and you'll leave with an adorable gnome! (maybe two)
Choose a classic, traditional look for your new friends or let the Sunshine State inspire you with a vibrant "Floridian-style" gnome—think tropical colors, a tiny seashell, or a flamingo-pink hat!
Lisa Lombardi is a passionate artist whose creativity is fueled by her love of working with her hands and exploring the world. Having traveled to more than 25 countries, she discovered the art of Batik in Indonesia, where she learned directly from local craftsmen and fell in love with the ancient process of painting with wax and dye.
Her journey with felting began years earlier during her Waldorf Teacher training, where she was introduced to needle felting as a way to create puppets for storytelling. From there, she expanded into wet felting and felting on felt exploring the endless possibilities of wool as a medium.
Whether through the vibrant colors of Batik or the tactile, transformative nature of felting, Lisa hopes to inspire others to spend more time creating, connecting with their own creativity, and building meaningful connections with the people around them.
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
