In this fun 3-hour workshop, learn the art of needle felting by sculpting wool into a super cute sheep puff.
About this Event

Treat a Mom and have a fun Spring afternoon with fibre artist and instructor Cathy Disbrow by learning to needle felt your very own sheep puff figure. This little sheep is made by stabbing wool with a special felting needle to connect all those fibres to create a solid sculpture. Students will also learn how to properly attach the curly wool locks to the sheepy shape. And to top it off, you get to make a small carrot or leaves for your sheep to chew. A great workshop for beginners and all levels of felters.

Some of the wool you’ll use is from the Village’s very own flock of Border Leicester sheep. Before and after the workshop, you will be able to meet the sheep in their field enclosure.

Workshop ticket includes admission to explore the village.

Cost: $75.00 - Materials are included in the price. This includes 2 felting needles, wool, and curly wool locks. Foam felting pads are provided for students to use during the workshop and can be purchased separately.

If you have any questions, please email instructor Cathy at [email protected].
