🎈NECLive 2025🎈The Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) is widely regarded as the biggest annual gathering for the creative and entertainment industries in West Africa. It began in 2013 and has since grown into a platform where musicians, filmmakers, content creators, investors, brand executives, policymakers, and media professionals come together to discuss challenges and opportunities in the industry.
The 2025 edition will run from November 28 to 30, 2025, with its main activities hosted at the Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. This year, NECLive is expanding its format, introducing hybrid and satellite events to connect participants both locally and internationally.
The theme for 2025 is “Powering Africa Through Creative Enterprise.” Discussions will center on building sustainable creative businesses, closing the gap between global recognition and local value, and tackling infrastructure, distribution, and monetization challenges.
Other focus points include intellectual property, regulation, digital innovation, tech integration, cross-border collaboration, and attracting investment into Africa’s creative economy.
The event will be hosted by Bolanle Olukanni and Tee A, while MultiChoice Nigeria is one of the major sponsors. It will be produced in collaboration with partners like ID Africa, BHM, and NetNG. Through platforms such as DStv and GOtv, the sessions are expected to reach millions of viewers worldwide.
NECLive is more than just a conference; it’s a mix of knowledge sharing and live entertainment. Participants can expect keynote speeches from industry leaders, panel discussions on pressing issues, workshops and masterclasses for skills and business development, exhibitions of innovative startups, live performances, and opportunities for networking and deal-making. Policy makers are also usually present, ensuring that the creative sector’s concerns are heard directly by decision-makers.
