NEAR DEATH COLLECTIVE PROUDLY PRESENTS:
SOVEREIGN MLVLTD
Rising from the ashes of Nottingham’s SPLITCASE, once a staple in the northern/midlands HC scene & a band who we have many fond memories of seeing regularly during our introduction to hardcore in the early 10s, we would like to introduce SOVEREIGN.
Sonically their influences are obvious, Satisfaction era Hatebreed, Biohazard, Crown of Thornz - brutal, metallic mosh riffs & breakdowns littered with gang chants & vocals covering topics of empowerment & personal growth. While there is clearly no intention to reinvent the wheel here, Sovereign have aimed for that sweet spot between metal & hardcore & nailed it perfectly - delivered with style and true ferocity.
Supports come from Belfast's own Hardcore Tag-Team If It Bleeds and Frayed Ends BC who you've beat lumps out of each other to plenty of times before.
