Ndidi O's remarkable seventh studio album, It's About Time, merges riveting alt-country, jazzy blues, and Irish traditional elements – it was recorded in Cork, Ireland, and features members of Irish folk star Mick Flannery’s band. For this show, Ndidi’s group comprises guitarist Mike Kenney, bassist Brad Ferguson and a special surprise drummer. Juno-nominated Ndidi Onukwulu, also known as Ndidi O, has collaborated with Grammy-winning artists Allison Russell, Gregory Porter and Rhiannon Giddens. In addition to her solo career, the singer-guitarist continues working on new music with The Blue and Gold, her collaboration with Trish Klein (Be Good Tanyas). Ndidi now divides her time between Vancouver and Ireland.Presented by North Shore Jazz and Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
