About this Event
Neuro Diverse Art Club
This is our monthly creative club, specifically for neuro diverse adults. Each month we will take on a different project, in a friendly and welcoming environment.
In our March session Suzanne Pinder will be leading the group. She will teach us how to make simple prints with Linocut.
We will learn
- How to transfer an image onto a lino block
- Techniques to carve the image
- To print the image with ink, onto fabric or paper
- To repeat patterns to make textile or a poster
During the session we will also look at household objects that can be used to print, so you can carry on experimenting at home.
No previous experience of Linocut is needed for this session and drawing skills are not necessary. You can bring a picture along of something you would like to do, or use one Suzanne provides.
What's included?
- All equipment and materials
- Light refreshments
Things to note
- Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy in
- If you would like more information about the space, please head to the website
- Each session is made up of a new group of participants, rather than a fixed group
