Everyone is welcome to join the NCWV Emmaus & Chrysalis Community for their gathering and Fourth Day / Next Steps covered dish dinner!This event will also feature a Spring Sweet Treats Showdown.
This is a chance to show off your baking skills, y’all! 🧑🍳👩🍳
We invite ANYONE to bring a sweet treat/dessert to enter into the Showdown!
Judges will be procured in advance and the categories are the following:
1. Best Spring Theme 🐣
2. Best Use of Fresh Fruit 🍓🍋
3. Best Floral Dessert 🌷
4.Best Family Traditional Recipe📜
5. Community’s Choice (this is where you ALL play a HUGE part! Votes will count for $1/vote and the community will decide the winner of this category!) 🐓🌈🦋
While we want many desserts for the Showdown, maybe baking isn’t your thing. We also request people to bring side dishes for the dinner. The community will be providing fried chicken for us! 🍗
(Newcomers: there isn’t any type of sign up, just bring what you want.)

5:00-6:00pm - Sponsorship Class.
It is necessary to attend a sponsorship class if you want to sponsor Pilgrims and/or Caterpillars on upcoming walks/flights. This is only for people who have already attended an Emmaus walk or Chrysalis flight.
