About this Event
Come down to Ashby Library every other Friday morning throughout the year where are friendly volunteers in our NCT green t-shirts are waiting to welcome all parents and carers.
Bumps & Babies is hosted in the events space adjacent to the main library desk and is FREE to attend with NO pre-booking required. We have many hot drinks and cold drinks and biscuits available for a small donation and tonnes of toys for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers too.
Wriggly Readers, hosted by library staff in the children's area of the library runs from 10:30am and Bumps & Babies starts straight afterwards until 12pm. We have a small number of very loyal supporters from local parent and baby groups who visit us throughout the year to deliver a FREE taster class of their activities. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for details of these!
Our volunteers are experienced parents or grandparents on hand to give guidance, support and encouragement. Whilst we are not trained NCT staff, we volunteer for the love of children and our community. We have many leaflets and brochures available for you to pick up from trusted groups, services and organisations.
