The London Tag Blitz: Your Village Vibe Tag Rugby Tournament!
The legendary London Tag Blitz is in the planning already, to be bigger and better! We're continuing the village vibe you love, with local clubs, pubs, and restaurants all joining the fun.
Mark your calendars! The next Blitz takes place on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at the spectacular and easily accessible Blackheath venue.
To celebrate, we're partnering with TRugby.com. They're encouraging players, officials, volunteers, and fans across the country to join the party! Get involved in a national tag rugby celebration with #welcometoanothersideofsport.
Here's what's happening for starters for next year:
- GB Men's Alliance Team returns: Due to thisyear's success, the invitational team is back!
- Introducing GEN X teams: We're welcoming teams with a flexible format (mixed men and women, 7 players) for players in the GEN X category.
- Women's Invitational remains: We're thrilled to also invite all-female teams!
Early Bird Advantage:
Again, we're offering a limited-time "Advantage Ticket"! Get yours now for just £5 and save on drinks at the pub after the games. This offer won't last forever, so grab your ticket while you can!
Ticket Prices:
- Early Bird (Now): £5
- Standard: £10
- Late Entry: £15
- Team Entry: £50 (first two teams), then increases to £225
The Format:
The tournament format remains the same as previous years.
- Normal League Rules apply.
- Teams can have a maximum of 4 men and 3 women (12 players total, unless written approval is granted for exceptions or in the GEN X category).
- All teams will play at least 4 games with 15-minute slots.
- More details will be shared upon registration.
