About this Event
Meditation in Nature is an opportunity for you to switch-off and experience a deep sense of calm whilst enjoying the beauty of the grounds at The Whitworth. When we are mindful in nature, we are able to be in the present moment much quicker than if we were indoors, this is because nature offers us an abundance of beauty and our natural curiosity is heightened by the sights, sounds and smells. At the end of the session, you will experience feeling lighter, less stressed and having a sense that you have connected to something bigger than yourself. These sessions are delivered by our Natural and Cultural Health Service Partner, Lilasuri (Claire) Morris from .
An opportunity to immerse ourselves in a love of trees. We will meet in the Bernstein Garden where we are surrounded by trees in the garden and the neighbouring Whitworth Park. We will explore using mindfulness and nature connection techniques and delve into our relationship to trees and how they sustain life for which we can feel gratitude. No mindfulness experience needed and even if you have only a vague interest in trees that might change at the end of the session!
To attend, please arrive no later than 5:45pm and head to our park side entrance.
