About this Event
Whitworth Park & Alex Bernstein Garden, FREE
Meditation in Nature is an opportunity for you to switch-off and experience a deep sense of calm whilst enjoying the beauty of the grounds at The Whitworth. When we are mindful in nature, we are able to be in the present moment much quicker than if we were indoors, this is because nature offers us an abundance of beauty and our natural curiosity is heightened by the sights, sounds and smells. At the end of the session, you will experience feeling lighter, less stressed and having a sense that you have connected to something bigger than yourself. These sessions are delivered by our Natural and Cultural Health Service Partner,
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we invite you to slow down and spend time in the Alex Bernstein Garden through a guided meditation in nature session. Together we’ll explore practices that support mental health by grounding the body, settling the mind, and tuning into the natural world around us. This session offers a supportive, non-judgemental space to rest, reflect, and reconnect. No experience needed — just come as you are and allow nature to do some of the work.
To attend, please arrive no later than 5:55pm and meet by the park side reception. Please note that entry to the gallery after 5pm is via the Oxford Road entrance.
