America the Beautiful celebrates the spirit and sound of American music, from the spirited momentum of James Reese Europe’s Castles in Europe to the open-hearted lyricism of Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring. The North Cascades Concert Band, under the direction of Peter Blau Ormsby, features guest trumpet soloist Staff Sgt. James McAloon Jr., with additional guest vocalist Emily Jennings.Performances take place:
