The Australian Cowgirl, as an affiliate of the National Cowboy Challenge Association, is excited to be hosting a Double Up Development Show Weekend — giving competitors the opportunity to compete across two shows in one weekend.

We are running:
⭐ Saturday Show
⭐ Sunday Show
👉 Two full NCCA Development Shows in one weekend!
Competitors can choose to:
• Enter one day only
• Or take advantage of a discounted Double Up Weekend Entry and compete both days
With limited shows scheduled this year and no events in July, this is a fantastic opportunity to:
✔ Get points on the board x2
✔ Maximise your competition runs in one trip
✔ Save on travel time and costs
❓ NCCA Q&A Session (Saturday Afternoon)
Following the first of our two Development Shows on Saturday, we will be hosting an interactive Q&A Session — a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and gain valuable insights.
Join us to:
✅ Gain a deeper understanding of judging expectations
✅ Learn how to maximise your scores
✅ Discuss common mistakes and how to avoid penalties
✅ Ask questions about obstacles, rules and competition strategy
✅ Build confidence and clarity heading into Sunday’s show
This session is perfect for competitors of all levels, from those just starting out to riders looking to refine their approach and improve their results.
🏆 NCCA Development Shows (Saturday & Sunday)
Both days will run as approved NCCA Development Shows, offering:
• All NCCA classes as per the official rule book
• A supportive, encouraging environment for all levels
• Ideal for green horses, junior riders and those building confidence
⭐ Qualifying rounds for The Australian National Championships in November 2026

📌 Important Information
• NCCA Membership is required to compete
• Single Day Memberships are available via the entry form
• Points earned contribute to National and World High Point Awards (2026)
• Ribbons awarded through to 4th place
• Lunch available on the day
