About this Event
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Northern Virginia Chapter invites you to participate in an important and meaningful conversation: Black Women’s Mental Health: Exploring Our Unique Experiences with Stress, Anxiety, and Depression.
Black women often navigate multiple roles across family, career, and community while facing unique social and cultural stressors that can impact emotional wellness. This interactive fireside chat will provide a safe, supportive, and affirming space to openly discuss these challenges and explore practical strategies for healing and resilience.
Licensed mental health professionals serving the Northern Virginia community will share insights on recognizing the signs of stress, anxiety, and depression, along with culturally responsive coping strategies and self-care practices.
Attendees will leave with practical tools, increased awareness, and a resource guide featuring mental health services available in Northern Virginia.
Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and welcomes adult African American women of all ages who are interested in learning more about protecting their mental health, supporting one another, and strengthening community connections.
