ABOUT THE HOSTS:

Katie Santoro,

Katie is a creative problem solver who believes the way things have always been done is not necessarily the "right way". Katie founded Lift Business Resources, formerly River City Virtual Assistants, to meet the rising demand for reliable and intelligent administrative assistants among small business owners. The agency was born out of Katie's experience as a freelance remote executive assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she recognized a need for consistent support for business owners, as well as a unique opportunity to provide flexible work solutions for parents and caretakers.

During her corporate career in the legal and insurance fields, Katie honed her administrative and project management skills, which laid the foundation for the agency’s comprehensive training and mentorship model. Katie is committed to delivering high-quality, professional services to business owners throughout the country.

When she isn't working, she enjoys reading anything business-related, walking her two Bernedoodles, tending to her 70 houseplants, and spending time with her husband.

Jaysa Cecil,

Jaysa Cecil is a NAWBO member and the founder and CEO of Maven Creative Solutions and headquarters (hq). With over a decade of experience in government contracting and healthcare strategy, she established Maven to provide creative connection-based problem-solving solutions to state and federal agencies and businesses alike. Recognizing a gap in connection for small business owners and entrepreneurs - especially in marginalized communities, she founded hq, a queer and women-centered coworking space in Forest Hill, designed to provide a professional yet welcoming environment for building a social society that helps each member thrive. Along with Jaysa, the pillars behind hq are Britt Stauduhar, Pilar Monroe, and Chloe VanZandt, who collectively ensure hq delivers exceptional experiences for members and facilitates growth within the community.

headquarters (hq) is Forest Hill's unique coworking space, offering a distinctive blend of professional amenities and home-like comfort. Located in Richmond, Virginia, this queer and women-centered workspace provides business owners, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers with a welcoming community environment. Members enjoy 24/7 access, complimentary parking, printing services, and kitchen facilities. Beyond its physical amenities, hq maintains a social society for connection and hosts regular events and networking opportunities, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where community can thrive. Membership options range from flexible day passes to unlimited monthly access, making it accessible for various work styles and schedules.
