About this Event
VCSS Summit Rescheduled for April 4th Due to Weather
Unfortunately, due to the significant snowfall in Eastern Virginia, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the VCSS Summit. While road conditions in Richmond may improve by Friday morning, we recognize that this is a statewide conference, not just a Richmond event. More than one-third of our attendees and presenters live in areas heavily affected by the storm and may still face unsafe travel conditions. With this in mind, we believe rescheduling is the best course of action to ensure the safety and accessibility of the event for all.

What's a "summit"? Think of a summit like a smaller version of our typical annual conference. We'll have concurrent session and a keynote, but no exhibit hall. And, it's only one day, which means you don't have to give up your whole weekend to enjoy some high-quality professional PD.
This year, the VCSS Summit will take place on the beautiful grounds of the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.
Your registration includes:
- Access to dozens of sessions
- Admission to the keynote address on Friday
- Continental breakfast in the VMHC lobby on Friday mornings
- Admission to both the VMFA and VMHC exhibit spaces on Friday
- VCSS membership
- Free parking in the lot behind the VMHC
