Ivan Tirtiaux has, for over twenty years, distinguished himself as a singular voice in French songwriting. A singer, songwriter, guitarist, and sound artisan, he crafts evocative sonic landscapes where folk, blues, jazz, fado, and tropical influences converge, all in service of poetic and timeless expression.His encounter with electro composer Pierre Slinckx, first unveiled at the Nuits Botanique in 2022 in an octet format featuring a string quartet, takes on new momentum in 2025.
A new creation for the Ars Musica festival further extends this collaboration in a duo form, giving rise to a contemporary sound world that blends poetic folk, guitar, and refined electronic textures.
