About this Event

This workshop is for international students from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan who are currently studying in Australia. Registration is required to secure your spot in this FREE workshop.



Workshop Objective

To equip international students (from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan) studying in Australia with a practical understanding of the Australian business and workplace environment. The workshop will explore key themes such as workplace culture, compliance, communication, and business etiquette, helping students build confidence and adaptability for future careers in Australia, China, or globally.

  • Australian Industry Landscape: Overview of major sector, trends and opportunities
  • Inside the Australian Workplace: Workplace structure, roles, expectations, and employee rights.
  • Compliance and Fair Work Practices: Key regulations, enforcement bodies, and ethical standards.
  • Culture and Communication in the Workplace: Navigating cultural nuances, communication styles, and workplace etiquette.
  • Cross Culture Business Success & Insights: Hear directly from Australian business leaders as they share insights into their experiences working with Chinese counterparts.
