David Jones is the founder and CEO of Diversity of Thought, Inc. (D.O.T.I.), a social enterprise whose mission it to elevate humanity through business. He is also the Executive Director of Diversity of Thought Nonprofit Organization (DOTNPO), empowering individuals to make a positive impact on the world around them. With a firm belief in unleashing human potential and embracing diversity, David strives to help individuals and organizations thrive.
In addition to his roles at D.O.T.I. and DOTNPO, David hosts the show True Colors for Brevard Cultural Alliance, showcasing the valuable contributions of minorities to the arts in Brevard County. Prior to founding D.O.T.I., David led learning and development efforts for Best Buy's Southeastern Region, spanning multiple states and territories. His team's focus on onboarding, education, and engagement resulted in notable achievements, including the highest training completion rates, lowest turnover rates in the organization's history, and outstanding sales performance.
David's passion for service extends beyond his professional endeavors. He actively participates in various boards and committees, recognizing the importance of giving back to the community. Some of the organizations he supports include the Infrastructure and Oversight Board for the City of Palm Bay, where he serves as Vice Chair, the Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zone as Training Chair, the American Advertising Federation: Florida/Caribbean Government Relations Co-chair, the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce, and The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, where he will assume the role of Incoming Board Chair.
In addition, David contributes his expertise and insights to committees such as the Hey Blue Advisory Council and the LEAD Brevard Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Committee. Recognized for his coaching and facilitation skills, he holds accreditation in Psychological Safety from the Academy of Brain Based Leadership.
While David's professional accomplishments are impressive, his most cherished role is being a father to his beloved daughter, Winter Aria.
