Nova Law Review is proud to host the 2026 Symposium: Navigating Artificial Intelligence: Legal Challenges & Innovations. This event reflects Nova Law Reviewโs longstanding commitment to advancing legal education and fostering critical discourse on emerging legal and policy issues. The Symposium will be a multidisciplinary event centered on the intersections of artificial intelligence, law, and public policy, and the challenges professionals face as they work to regulate, deploy, and understand these technologies. AI presents two competing realities: unprecedented technological acceleration and a legal framework that struggles to keep pace. These tensions force scholars and practitioners alike to balance innovation, societal risk, and evolving regulatory perspectives.
The 2026 Nova Law Review Symposium provides a dynamic forum for scholars, practitioners, technologists, and thought leaders to engage in critical discussions on the most pressing issues in modern AI regulation and governance. This yearโs panels will explore emerging challenges such as algorithmic bias and consumer protection, the legal implications of autonomous decision-making systems, and the evolving role of AI in corporate, administrative, and constitutional contexts.
Panel discussions will address complex issues including compliance in AI-driven environments, regulatory fragmentation at the federal and state levels, and strategies for ensuring transparency and accountability in algorithmic systems. Additionally, experts will examine ethical considerations surrounding generative AI, privacy and data-use dilemmas, and the risks of over- or under-regulating emerging technologies.
By bringing together leading voices in law, technology, and public policy, the 2026 Symposium aims to foster meaningful dialogue and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Attendees will leave equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the rapidly shifting landscape of AI regulation and innovation. We look forward to thought-provoking discussions that will shape the future of AI governance and legal reform.
