The Navarro / Barkatsas / Damianidis / Škorić Quartet is a contemporary electric jazz project rooted in improvisation and strong rhythmic interplay. Bringing together musicians from Panama, Greece, and Serbia, the band blends electric jazz language with Afro-Caribbean phrasing, Balkan rhythmic concepts, and Mediterranean melodies and soundscapes.
Since expanding to a quartet in 2024 with trumpeter Aquiles Navarro, the group has developed a focused and powerful live sound. They have successfully completed their first Balkan tour in November 2025 and for they perform for the first time in Brussels. The quartet offers an intense, forward-moving live experience grounded in deep listening and collective interaction.
