Emil F
Den danske producer Emil F har længe været en del af Københavns undergrundsscene som producer for artister såsom Uden Ord, Frederik Valentin, Nausia og Neon Priest. Som DJ fusionerer Emil F nostalgisk dansemusik fra 2010erne med flabede og uventede EDM-beat drops.
Sofie MMT
Følelserne ligger blottede i Sofie MMTs univers. Bag kunstnernavnet befinder sangskriver, producer og sanger Sofie Thorsen sig. Med en baggrund i DR Pigekoret forbinder Sofie MMT de harmonier, vi forbinder med den danske sangskat, til skraldede DIY-lyde, skæve synths og et inderligt og direkte tekstunivers. Resultatet er storladent og sårbart. Med hjertet i hånden rækker Sofie MMT ud til publikum. Med håbet om at de vil gribe det.
Nausia
Den københavnske kvintet Nausia, bestående af to saxofoner, guitar, bas og trommer, er svær at putte i en genrekasse. Lyden veksler mellem repetitiv trance og vilde, euroforiske udladninger, og trækker på bl.a. alternativ rock, spirituel jazz og minimalisme. Bandet udgav i slutningen af 2021 deres andet album ”Good Intentions”, som har høstet roser fra anmeldere i både ind- og udland. Albummet modtog 5 stjerner i Gaffa og en anmeldelse af den legendariske rock-journalist David Fricke, som tørt konstaterede “It’s hard to beat this one” i MOJO Magazine.
Nu er Nausia klar med deres nye album “Finding A Circle” (Vasen, 2025), som efter bandets eget udsagn føles som kulminationen på 5 års hårdt arbejde med turnéer og udgivelser. Albummet er skabt i tæt samarbejde med producer Jacob Günther og afspejler et stærkt musikalsk fællesskab samt et ønske om at finde ro i en orkan af hektiske ungdomsår, klimakollaps og dystopiske fremtidsudsigter. Forvent et spirituelt, hektisk, jazzet, doomy og helstøbt værk, der cementerer Nausia som et dybt originalt band i konstant udvikling og en af Danmarks mest interessante jazz-rock grupper. Sofie MMT
Emotions lay bare in Sofie MMT’s universe. Behind the artist name stands songwriter, producer, and singer Sofie Thorsen. With a background in the DR Danish National Girls’ Choir, Sofie MMT merges the harmonies associated with the Danish song tradition with gritty DIY sounds, off kilter synths, and a deeply personal and direct lyrical universe. The result is grand yet vulnerable. With her heart in her hands, Sofie MMT reaches out to the audience – hoping they will catch it.
Nausia
The Copenhagen-based quintet, consisting of two saxophones, guitar, bass, and drums, defies genre boundaries. Their sound alternates between hypnotic repetition and intense, euphoric energy, drawing inspiration from alternative rock, spiritual jazz, and minimalism. In late 2021, the band released their second album, “Good Intentions”, which received critical acclaim both in Denmark and abroad. The album earned 5 stars in Gaffa and a glowing review by the legendary David Fricke in MOJO Magazine.
Now, Nausia is ready with their new album “Finding a Circle” (Vasen, 2025), which the band describes as the culmination of five years of hard work on tours and releases. Created in close collaboration with producer Jacob Günther, the album reflects a strong musical camaraderie and a desire to find solace amidst the storm of turbulent youth, climate collapse, and dystopian futures.
