The Bharatanatyam Group of Christchurch presents 'Natyam 2026'
Showcasing the talents of Guru Anuradha Ambalavanar and her troupe of students.
Bharatanatyam is a traditional dance form that originated in Tamil Nadu, India is often called the embodiment of music in visual form. It makes use of dramatic expressions of the face and movements of the body to narrate a story that is at once graceful, powerful and compelling.
Join us for an extraordinary evening of Indian Classical Dance at our 17th Annual Bharatanatyam Dance Performance! Experience an unforgettable showcase of mesmerizing and unique performances. Our talented students have poured their hearts into creating something truly special—don’t miss the chance to witness their dedication and artistry come to life on stage!
Food, drink and unauthorized video recording are prohibited inside the theatre. Snacks & Drinks can be purchased during interval at the ground floor cafe.
