Join NatureWalkTok for a relaxed, family-friendly walk along the Belfast Rail Trail and Harbor Walk in beautiful Belfast, Maine.
This walk is designed to be welcoming and inclusive for families with children of all abilities, including children with special needs. We’ll keep a slow, flexible pace with plenty of room for breaks, quiet moments, and enjoying the trail at whatever comfort level works best for each family.
We’ll meet at the City Point Trailhead by the train station at 10:00 AM and walk together along the scenic rail trail toward Belfast’s harbor area, taking in views of the Passagassawakeag River, boats, bridges, wildlife, and the working waterfront.
There is no pressure to keep up or complete the full walk. Families are welcome to walk as much or as little as feels right. Strollers, mobility supports, sensory needs, and different walking speeds are all welcome.
