This backyard water feature was installed to become the focal point in the yard for both family and friends when they step outside the back of the home. Numerous boulder outcroppings and plantings flank both sides of the feature that nestle it into the berm as if it has always been there. The entire feature has become the perfect background, from relaxing around the fire pit to putting tournaments on a synthetic golf green that sits adjacent. A perfect example of what can be done in a small space. A beautifully scenic drive through rolling hills and gently bending roads to the Country Club of St. Albans begins your journey to experience this unique feature.

A custom-constructed wetland filter hidden inside the pond achieves a high level of water
quality in this feature. Low voltage LED lights in and around the pond to illuminate the pond and waterfalls at night to focus your views on highlighted areas of the feature. A massive feeding/ sitting stone sits along one edge, providing the perfect spot to hang out pondside. Tons of outcroppings and other boulders decorate the surrounding landscape and hide two custom drainage basins that address water coming off the corners of the home. This feature, surrounding garden, and the overall setting will leave you breathless and is a must-see!

Tour Stop #3 | 63131
Info: A custom 30', dual source, pondless waterfall begins with 2 BioFalls filters that start the feature to give way to separate waterfalls that bounce sound throughout. The stream bed was cut deep into the ground to give height to the first set of falls that give the impression that the water carved out this feature creating a mountain stream that flows, twisting and turning through the space. An elevated patio off the master bedroom sliding doors was created to allow a small space to sit outside and enjoy the feature or have a morning coffee and relax in nature. A set of large ledge rock steps provide a way to walk along the side of the feature and get to the seating area above and down to the yard below. The steps and outcroppings are worked into the design of the feature to appear as if they were exposed over time by the soil eroding away, unveiling the beauty below. LED path lights illuminate the space to enjoy at night.

Tour Stop #4 | Zip Code 63127
Info: **This is the final stop where the tour will conclude with food and refreshments provided by Nature’s Re-Creations** Welcome to Fox Mountain Falls! This recreational pond is the owner’s dream come true. 350+ tons of weathered limestone boulders were used to create this feature. Several massive 9+ ton specimen stones were strategically placed to create scaled focal points. The pond measures approximately 120’ by 60’ and is over 8’ deep. A bluff was created with 8+ton specimen boulders that serve as not only a unique observation point but also a jumping cliff. A RainXchange system irrigates raised vegetable beds with a permeable paver patio and a custom bubbling rock. The deck has been upgraded with a covered pavilion. A new feature has been added to this feature to increase the enjoyment of the space. A shallow sundeck was added off the cantilevered patio. This modern infusion blends spectacularly with the natural pond. A bubbling rock & spillway bowl add sound and visual interest.
