During the season of reflection, set aside a day at the Ely Folk School on the edge of the Boundary Waters Wilderness to receive winter’s gift of inner nourishment through nature writing. To celebrate the strong bond between women and the natural world, you will generate written pieces in a supportive group circle through reading, discussion, contemplation and free-flowing writing exercises. This class will focus primarily on the early stages of the writing process and include time to reflect on and share our work. Please bring some writing by a favorite author that you especially like. We will take a break and enjoy lunch together at a local venue.About your instructor: DyAnne Korda’s work has been published in several journals including The Wisconsin Academy Review, ArtWord Quarterly, and Agates.
