We’re excited to share that Children’s Minnesota is partnering with the Minnesota Zoo for a Nature Wellness Day on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. This event is great for all ages and is free with zoo admission. The Minnesota Zoo and Children’s Minnesota will host several activity stations to showcase how the natural world and human wellness are connected. Guests will be able to explore stations highlighting yoga at the zoo, nature play, birding, nature art, medical play stations and more!
Guests are also encouraged to bring their favorite teddy bear, doll or other plush buddy to a special Boo-Boos clinic that will be set up for the day. Child life staff from Children’s Minnesota and the Minnesota Zoo’s animal care and health teams will be available to provide wellness checks on dolls and plushies and encourage guests to experience the benefits of nature – along with their toy companions.
