Join us with your little ones as we explore the wonders of the natural world together!
Nature Sprouts is a gentle, engaging introduction to outdoor discovery for toddlers and their caregivers, designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy through hands-on experiences in nature.
Each session includes story time, sensory play, guided outdoor exploration, and simple activities that help children interact with the world around them in age-appropriate ways. The program is relaxed, welcoming, and encourages caregivers to participate alongside their child.
Programs meet in St. Francis Hall and run from 10:00–11:30 AM. Families are welcome to stay afterward to continue exploring, play outside, or enjoy lunch on the grounds.
Wednesday, August 5th: Hiders & Seekers
Let’s become detectives in the world of camouflage! We will explore how frogs, stick bugs, butterflies, grasshoppers, and other summer creatures blend into their surroundings. We’ll play hide-and-seek games with colors and shapes, search the meadow for hidden “critters,” and create camouflage art. Story time and exploration will help them notice the wonders of God’s creation, learn about the colors of summer, and enjoy the thrill of discovery outdoors!
**Important Notes:
Your first ticket is for you and 1 child. If you have more children in the age group, please purchase an additional ticket for each child. To ensure we have enough supplies, please purchase additonal tickets for any older siblings who would like to be active participants. Children less than 2 years old are free.
A themed snack will be provided. Please be sure to report any allergies when registering.
