Join us, Berwyn Public Library and Berwyn Roots as we celebrate our love for the Earth. Head out to our parks for an afternoon of hands-on fun and discovery. We'll connect with nature through garden clean ups, nature exploration and creating beautiful art using natural materials. Together we will come together to care for and celebrate our planet! Activities to take place at Serenity, Mraz and Proksa Parks from 3 - 5PM.
All Ages Welcome.
Proksa Park
Our Earth Day Play at Proksa Park will allow residents to explore the children’s garden , enjoy bubble play, engaged in sensory exploration activities inspired by nature, and create special Earth Day art projects.
Serenity Park
Meet Berwyn Roots at Serenity Park to explore garden themed activities from planting seeds to take home, to garden themed crafts and outdoor play.
Mraz Park
Celebrate Earth Day! Spend time in nature with a book. Or two. Join library staff at Mraz Park for a special story time and read the story currently posted in the park. There will be free books to take home and other special activities.
