Eager to learn more about the world around you? Then join us at Polk's Nature Discovery Center for our 2025-2026 Nature Lecture Series!
From September 2025, through May 2026, Polk's Nature Discovery Center will be hosting a different lecture each month; highlighting an aspect of the natural world.
Join us for our final Lecture Night of the season on May 28th as Jayme Jamison, Curator of Education and Visitor Engagement at the Polk County History Center, provides a look into the history of the Indigenous peoples who once lived in this region.
This presentation will be held in Polk's Nature Discovery Center's Workshop from 6:00pm-6:45pm with time for questions and answers to follow.

Who should sign up for this? For learners of all ages.
Tickets & Sign-Ups: Tickets are not required, but recommended. Signing up will allow us to know the number of participants planning to attend. If spots are available on the day of the event, spots may be open for other visitors.
1 ticket is needed per person. 1 ticket = 1 person
