About this Event
Nature-Inspired Clay Pots with Tallulah Lines
An Afternoon of Decorative Floral Clay Making
Join artist Tallulah Lines for a relaxed and creative afternoon exploring nature through clay.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own small clay pot or decorative vessel using air-dry clay that does not need to be fired. Inspired by botanical forms, you’ll finish your piece with beautiful floral surface designs.
Tallulah will guide you through simple hand-building techniques and demonstrate how to imprint, carve, and embellish your clay with delicate, nature-inspired patterns. This session is perfect for beginners and those with some experience — no prior clay knowledge is needed.
You’ll learn:
- Basic hand-building techniques
- How to shape and form a small pot or decorative vessel
- Methods for creating floral textures and surface designs
- Tips for achieving a refined, organic finish using air-dry clay
All materials are provided, and because the workshop uses air-dry clay, you can take your finished piece home on the day — no kiln firing or later collection required.
Expect a welcoming, informal atmosphere with plenty of guidance, creativity, and time to experiment.
What to bring:
Just yourself and clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
Spend a slow, mindful afternoon connecting with natural forms and leave with a beautiful handmade clay piece inspired by the world around you.
